Last week, Candice and I went on a yoga retreat with the Citizen Yoga to the beautiful Tulum for some serious R&R. The days were full of yoga (3-4 hours!), 75-minutes of juicy philosophy, sun, healthy food, great conversation, adventures, laughter, and tons of sleep. Let’s just say it was self-care to the max and the hardest decision needing to be made was pool or beach. #blessed
Many of us who attended either needed a serious recharge or needed the space to feel and think through upcoming life transitions. Through several of my conversations with fellow retreaters’ and now my own experience of merging retreat life with the “real” world, the question of “...but how do I actually apply this new knowledge?” kept coming up.
